The lens of this LED magnifying lamp is permanently mounted and cannot be replaced.
This lamp emits bright light, but can also be dimmed significantly - no glare!
What makes this lamp unique: You can choose whether the light shines all around the lens (= no shadows!), or only from right to left, or only from left to right: this allows cast shadows to reveal relief-like structures, carved grooves, or e.g. even the finest hairs or raised areas of skin, which are otherwise very difficult to locate!
In addition, with this lamp you can secure the lamp head in any position using wing screws, have approximately 1 meter of free space under the lamp head and can either secure the lamp to any protruding table edge using the included screw clamp mount or even mount it on a rolling stand that can be moved freely around the room (accessory, RM-RS-2109).
